Behrouz K. Rahmati
Behrouz K. Rahmati is a native of Tehran, Iran and has lived in Huntsville, Alabama for thirty years. Following graduation from Jones School of Law, Behrouz started his firm in Huntsville and has been engaged in the practice of law since 1993. Behrouz has represented clients in civil matters in the District and County Court of Denver, Colorado, the Northern District of California at San Jose, and the Immigration Appeal Court in Detroit, Michigan.
In 1994, Behrouz assisted in the creation of the first Public Defender Program for the City of Huntsville, and has served on the Executive Board for the Madison County Bar Association. Behrouz has also served on the Board of Counsel to International Visitors in Madison County and the Membership Committee of the Madison County Bar Association.
Behrouz focuses in the practice of Real Estate, Corporate Litigation, and jury and non-jury trials involving collections and various other civil cases.
Behrouz is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, and the Madison County Bar Association. Behrouz is also admitted to practice before the following Courts: Supreme Court of Alabama 1993; United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama 1993; United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama 1993; United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit 1994; and United States Supreme Court 2004.

Todd R. Howard
Todd, is a native of Madison County, Alabama, and attended law school at Stetson University College of Law in St. Petersburg, Florida. While at Stetson, Todd was a research assistant to International Criminal Law and White-Collar Criminal Law expert Ellen Podgor and clerked as a Certified Legal Intern for the City of St. Petersburg Attorney’s Office. Upon graduation from Stetson, Todd received a William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award for his Pro Bono Service and a Leadership Development Certificate. After law school Todd worked with a commercial civil litigation firm in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In June, 2008 Todd returned to Madison County and joined Rahmati Law Firm, LLC. Since returning to Madison County, Todd has been active with Leadership Huntsville/Madison County and is a graduate of Connect Class 12. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hospice Family Care and the Garnet Chargers at UAHuntsville. In 2011, Todd successfully bid for and was awarded a $100,000.00 United States Department of Agriculture contract for the provision of real estate closing services for North and Central Alabama. Additionally, Todd was nominated by the Chamber of Commerce Huntsville/Madison County as Young Professional of the year for 2010-2011.
Todd is licensed to practice law in Alabama, Florida, Federal District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and the District of Columbia and focuses on real estate, business law, litigation and personal injury.
Todd, his wife Melanie, and their daughter, reside in Madison, Alabama.

Joseph T. Conwell, III
Joseph is a native of New Hope, Alabama. Joseph is a third generation attorney serving Madison County. He received his law degree from Jones School of Law in Montgomery Alabama in December of 1998. Prior to joining the firm in October of 2011, Joseph was in private practice for 11 years. He has handled a wide variety of legal matters ranging from Capitol Murder/Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, Wills, Estates, Real Estate Transactions, and Drafting and Preparing Corporate and Business Entity Documentation. Joseph is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the Huntsville Madison County Bar Association.
He graduated High School from Madison Academy in 1990. He attended undergraduate school at Freed Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee where he received a BBA in Business Management in 1994.
Joseph serves as deacon over missions at the Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ. Joseph, his wife Crista and their children live in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.

Andrew A. Taheri
Andrew is a native of Rainsville, Alabama where he graduated from Plainview High School. Andrew graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Science. From a young age, Andrew was interested in becoming an attorney and decided to pursue this goal. He graduated from Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama in May 2011. He worked for the Hon. Aimee C. Smith in Montgomery before deciding to move back to North Alabama. Andrew is excited to join Rahmati Law Firm as of September 2011 and looks forward to learning and growing in the firm as well as the Huntsville community.
Andrew has been active in speaking competitions from a young age and has been recognized as the Optimist International: Oratorical District Winner and scholarship recipient. He also became the Beta Club state winner and went on to place third at the National Competition in New Orleans. Andrew is a Certified Mediator after completing the Jones School of Law Mediation Clinic. Andrew has worked with the Volunteer Lawyers Program through the Alabama State Bar and is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Stephanie H. Porter
Stephanie is a native of Calera, Alabama where she graduated Salutatorian from Calera High School. Stephanie went on to attend Troy University, in Troy, Alabama, where she graduated magna cum laude in December 2007. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Stephanie attended Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. While in law school, Stephanie participated in her school’s advocacy program and was a member of the National Appellate Advocacy Competition team. In 2010 she and her teammates competed against top ranked law students from across the nation in Washington, D.C. Stephanie was also an Eagle Scholar, an appointed member on the Executive Council of the Jones School of Law Board of Advocates and served as a senior editor of the Faulkner Law Review. Before finishing school, Stephanie completed her certification in Alternative Dispute Resolutions and served as an extern for the Honorable Charles S. Coody of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. In 2011 she received her J.D., cum laude, and finished in the top ten percent of her class.
Stephanie was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 2011 and joined Rahmati Law Firm in October the same year. She looks forward to applying the knowledge and skill she gained through her legal studies and work experience to her law practice today and in the future. Stephanie is a member of the Alabama Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Stephanie and her husband, Daniel, reside in Athens, Alabama.
